He was predeceased by: his former wife Deborah Jane Phillips (Holcombe); his parents, George Phillips and Jean Phillips; and his brother Randon Phillips. He is survived by: his sister Karen Seus (Nevin) of Bradenton, FL; his children, Katie Powell, Carrie Powers (Drew) and Jensen Phillips; and his wife Patty.
In lieu of flowers, George requested that donations be made to the Otterbein Benevolent Fund in his honor.
