He is survived by: his wife Trudy Hanna; his brother Allen; his children, Dawn (Mark Goodman) and Scott (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Alexandra Goodman-Mitchell, James Goodman, Samuel Fruechtemeyer and Molly Fruechtemeyer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friendship UMC or the International Myeloma Foundation.
