He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bennett and Gertrude Sparkes. He is survived by: his wife Gilda Sparkes; his children, William Sparkes, Lauren Sparkes (Ben Sherman) and Meredith Dean (Justin); his siblings, Paul Sparkes (Anita), Ellen Erickson (Dean), Pete Sparkes (Trina) and Rick Sparkes (Adam); and his niece Lola.
