He is survived by: his wife Bernice Murphy; his children, Irma Osborne (Dennis Fields), Pete Murphy (Danette) and Pat Murphy (Sharon); his grandchildren, Shawn (Kathy), Kyle (Karen), Aaron, Carl, Jillian, Jennifer, Bryan (Brandi) and Jason (Marisa); his great grandchildren, Tyler (Sarah), Austin, Rachel, Abigail, Emmalyn, Asher, Lexi, Savannah, Victoria, Hailey, Thomas, Matti, Kase, Branden, Bryan, Paisley and McKinley; and his great great grandchildren, Avery and Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Shrine Hospital.
