She is survived by: her brother Gordon Whitley of Scottsdale, AZ; her children, Michael Garwood (Debra) of Naperville, IL, Dr. Mark Garwood (Judy) of London, OH, Timothy Garwood of Marysville, OH and Margaret Monzingo (Lynn) of Ft. Myers, FL.; her grandchildren, Alexis Garwood of San Diego, CA, Austin Garwood of Naperville, IL, Tonja Djuren of Johnston, IA, Dr. Kirsten Vacca (Justin) of Ewa Beach, HI, Beau Garwood of Marysville, OH, Major Monzingo of Roanoke, TX and Maty Kelly (Connor) of New York, NY.; her great grandchildren, Faith of Marysville, OH, Skyler of Marysville, OH, Rylie Garwood of Marysville, OH, Kadence of Johnston, IA, Conor Kunzler of Johnston, IA, Awden Djuren of Johnston, IA, Finn and Baby Vacca of Ewa Beach, HI.; and her nieces and nephews, Barbara Yuill, John Whitley (Julie) of Scottsdale, AZ, Steve Ferguson of Greenfield, IN, Leigh Ann Mott (Bill) of Indianapolis, IN and Karla Poling (Gary) of Marysville, OH.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Underwood Funeral Home (703 E 5th St, Marysville, OH 43040). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Community and Seasoned Citizens of Marysville, OH.
