He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde and Ruth; and his sister-in-law Patricia Ringhiser. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his son Todd Roark; his grandchildren, Gavin, Seth and Jasmyne; his siblings, Iris Warner (John), Alice Rich, Darrell Roark (Faye), Perry Roark and Fred Roark (Marcella); his siblings-in-law, Joyce Roark, Esther Roark, Charlotte Roark, Patty Roark and George Ringhiser; his daughter-in-law Remelle Marquis (Rich); his niece Kelly Branham (Mike); and his nephew Scott Ringhiser (Kylie). He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in his memory.
