It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lee Rowlett Sr. of Marysville, Ohio, born in Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Guy Rowlett and Mary Ruth Rowlett (Justice); his wife Sue; his stepdaughter Teresa Risner; and his sister-in-law Sheila Kitchen.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa R. Brown (Darren) of Suffolk, VA and Roger L. Rowlett Jr. of Lancaster, SC; his grandchildren, Ethan Brown (Taylor), Mason Brown (Axyl Rowlett) and Ryker Brown; his stepchildren, Tracey L. Reeser (Chad) of Marysville and Jeffrey P. Risner (Jerika) of LaRue; his stepgrandchildren, Hudson, Helena Reeser, Bailey, Blake, Cain, Laikyn Risner, Lexi Mattix, Logan, Gage Pounds, Gary Rowlett and Frances Hendrix (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Paula Warner (Jim) and Don Pyers (Janet). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Union County Military Family Support Group or to Loving Care Hospice and they may be sent to the funeral home.
