It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Shannon Anderson of Marysville, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on November 30, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jackson and Jeanne Cashell Anderson; his sister Barbara Patterson; his wife Deanna; and his grandson Jordan Michael Loftis.

He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Anderson of Georgia, Jody Anderson of Marysville, Robert Anderson, Jr. (Jeannie) of Mississippi, Sarah Thompson (Ken) of Arizona and James "Ed" Anderson (Jill) of Woodstock; and his brothers, Michael Anderson (Mieke), Steve Anderson (Helena) and Charles "Chris" Perry (Lee). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Community Mercy Hospice at Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.

“Bob and I grew up as children. I can't remember not knowing him. He always said "we'd be delighted for Sonie to come to our house " So my dad began calling him "Delightful." Bob asked me to his Junior Prom. Then he went with me to my Spring Ball. Until our graduation we were always seen as a couple even though we always felt like brother and sister!
