With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Cooper of Marysville, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mike Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cooper and Lillian Cooper; his in-laws, Lloyd and Joyce Barker; his friend John Vanmeter; his niece Andrea Cooper; and his great-nephew Ethan Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Lana Cooper (Barker); his grandsons, Kavan and Lucas O'Neil; his siblings, Emma Vanmeter of Piketon, Gary Cooper (Sharon) of Waverly and Roger Cooper (Kandy) of Piketon; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Barker (Loretta) of Piketon and Eric Barker of Piketon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Donations can be sent to or dropped off at Pike County Children Services, 525 Walnut Street, Waverly, Ohio 45690. The donations will be used to purchase coats, toys, and other clothing to be distributed to children residing in Pike County during the Christmas season.
