He is survived by: his children, Michael McCarty (Kandice) of Marysville, Diana Shreve (Rick) of Richwood, Tammy Smith (John) of Richwood, Nancy Gargus (Marvin) of Joplin and Dorothy Hastings of Marysville; and his grandchildren, Levey, Libbie, Leland, Layne McCarty, Josh Shreve, Joey Shreve, Pamela, Johnny, Brandon, Laura, William Smith, Michelle Trotter, Keith Gaylord, Kyle Fernside, Robert Spanswick, Brian, Tyler and Susan Edwards. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
