She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy B. Wolford and Barbara M. Wolford (Sedlock); her son Steven C. Shanks; and her brothers, Robert, James, Todd and Dana Wolford.

She is survived by: her husband Donald E. Shanks; her sister Patricia Montgomery; and her caregivers, Dick and Kathy Brake. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Senior Activity Center (formerly Windsor Manor) and they may be sent to the funeral home.
