Lydia Ann Sorg Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Ann Sorg of Marysville, Ohio, born in Ava, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Audley and Esther Moore McElroy; and her siblings, Ina, Arlo and Clinton.

She is survived by: her husband Rupert T. Sorg Jr.; her children, Audie Sorg (Karolina) of Alderson, WV, Pam Reynolds (Paul) of Richwood, Randy Sorg (Trudi) of Marysville, Renee Fairchild (Josh) of Marysville and Debbie Carmichael (Scott) of Dublin; and her grandchildren, Loren, Timothy "TJ" Sorg, Tabitha Wolfe, Ophelia, Jozephina, Jaxson Sorg, Bethany Dean, Brooke Endres, Blake, Brice Sorg, Colin, Gavin, Javan Bushong, Josh and Jonah Carmichael. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

COVID protocols will be practiced at both the funeral home and the cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ghana Mission Fund, payable to Eastside Church of Christ with "Ghana Fund" written in the memo line, in care of the funeral home.
