Bendler and Ida Mae Bendler (Conrad); his daughter Marilyn Bendler; his sisters, Carolyn Sams and Marilyn Bendler; his stepsiblings, Patty Morse, Kathryn Bolenbaugh, Michael McCarty, Harold Bendler, Larry Bendler and Charles Bendler; and his wife Melinda Bendler (Slagle).
He is survived by: his daughter Ida Gardner of Westerville; his stepchildren, Mindy Slagle (Jeffrey) of Delaware and Michael Browning, II (Tina) of Cardington; his grandchildren, Christopher Santillan (Kirsten), Dillon Santillan (Zaylee), Elizabeth Santillan, Isaiah Bendler, Jeremiah Bendler (Kenzi), Gabriel Bendler, Cloey Browning, Michael Browning and Savannah Cline; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Auggie, Simon, Domenick, Elaina, Raelynn and MJ; and his sister Sharon Williams of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
