He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Elizabeth Page (Doug) of Grandview, David Ahlers (Kavita) of Vestavia Hills and Brian Ahlers (Anne) of San Francisco, California; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Kathryn, Luke, Logan and Asha.

Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to Boys Scouts of America or American Cancer Society.
