She was predeceased by: her father Henry Hicks; her brother Ronald Hicks; and her brothers-in-law, Glenn McComas and Carroll Mathys. She is survived by: her husband James E. Rausch; her children, Michael Rausch (Jodi) of Marysville, Connie Scheiber (Albert) of Lincoln and Jennifer Lawrence (Ralph) of Kenton; her grandchildren, Carmen Balch (Zach), Katie Rausch (Chris Taylor), Clark Rausch (Bethani), Edwin "Eddie" Scheiber, James "Jimmy" Scheiber, Jessica Battles (Brittan) and Ryan Lawrence (Katelynn Connin); her great grandchildren, Cooper, Chloe, Sophia, Finn and Alayna; her siblings, Patricia McComas, Joyce Mathys, Greg Hicks (Casey) and Sheryl McKinney (Morris); and her brothers-in-law, Donald Rausch (Juanita), Joe Rausch (Mary), David Rausch (Crystal) and John Rausch (Maggie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen's memory to Trinity Lutheran Church.
