Joy N. Groat Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy N. Groat (Marysville, Ohio), born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Eugene and Naomi Crawford Jones; and her siblings-in-law, James and Mary Louise. She is survived by: her husband John Mack Groat; her children, Jeff Groat, Sr. (Deborah) of Marysville, Jay Groat (Vicki) of Westerville and Jill Sements (Robert) of Marysville; her grandchildren, Jennifer Fisher (Marc), Jeff Groat, Jr., Jacqueline Groat, Jackson Groat, Kellie Jo Naomi Fiel (Alajos) and Heather Plumb (Logan); and her great grandchildren, Victoria, MacKenzie, Alexsandra, Lindsay and Alajos. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the David and Elizabeth Ward Scholarship Fund, in care of the Union County Foundation.
