He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Truitt and Charlotte Hook Truitt; and his siblings, Mary Evelyn Dawson, Frank Truitt, Jr. and Frances Truitt Bonthius.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Henderson Truitt; his children, Gayle Truitt-Bean of Clarion, Pennsylvania and Tom Truitt (Susan) of Marysville; his grandchildren, Greg Bean of Meadville, Erin Bean (Evan Halteman) of Wesley Chapel, Carly Truitt of Marysville and Kevin Truitt (Alex Rhodes) of Marysville; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Truitt of Upper Arlington and Jack Henderson (Betty) of Spring Lake, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
