She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Whitfield and Daisy Whitfield (Davis); her husband Paul E. York; and her granddaughter Samantha Marshall. She is survived by: her children, Virginia, Paul, Jr., George, Pam, Jeff and Charles; her grandchildren, Robbie, Blake, Steele and Dustin; and her siblings, Cindy, Doris, Jack and Jerry. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
