He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas O. Bullock and Gertrude L. Bullock; his wives, Marilyn Mathewson Deringer and Carol Myers Willeke Deringer; and his siblings, Evelyn Deringer, Richard Deringer and Maxine McBride.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Deringer (Mona) of Worthington, Diana Keller (Kristopher) of Millersport, George Brian Deringer (Theresa) of Canton, Todd Willeke (Cheryl) of Newark, Tonya Burnett (Steven) of St. Marys and Troy Willeke (Christine) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Anne Deringer (Clark), Lizzie Langford (Adam), Michi Deringer (Dustin Faller), Dan Shinn, Alicia Shinn, Rachel Keller, Tony Deringer, Clay Deringer, Michael McRae (Jaimie), Shannon McRae, Erin Wilson (Brandon), Shauna Willeke, Nicholas Willeke (Shelby), Evan Willeke (Cora) and Logan Willeke; and his brother Chuck Deringer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Underwood Funeral Home (703 E 5th St, Marysville, OH 43040). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McElroy Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bickford of Worthington "happiness" activity fund.
