He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana E. and Beulah Davis Roush Sr.; his parents-in-law, Lester and Veda Nicol; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Nicol, Kenny Nicol and Denny Nicol.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Nicol; his daughter Stacey; his son-in-law Michael Woeste of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Ally, Benjamin, Bridget and Colleen; his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Patti Roush of Ostrander; his grandchildren, Steven, Isabella and Christian; his son Spencer; his daughter-in-law Catherine Roush of Marysville; his grandchildren, Tanner, Gabbi and Walker; his brother Roger; and his sisters-in-law, Rebecca Roush of Unionville and Jo Nicol of New Albany. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Gene's grandchildren will be pallbearers, and the family requests casual attire for those who plan to attend, as well as social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice in care of Ingram Funeral Home who is handling arrangements.
