She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schlecty and Imogene Schlecty; her husband Donald Lee Koontz; and her brother Roger Schlecty. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Paul Koontz of Galloway and Gregory Lee Koontz (Bernice) of Marysville; her grandsons, Jacob Koontz (Katelynn) of Marysville and Nikolaus Koontz of Marysville; her siblings, Norbert Schlecty (Becky) of Rossburg and Deborah Soldenwagoner (Tim) of Florida; and her sister-in-law Kay Devereux of Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
