He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty Nicol, John Frederick Geer and Charles Geer; and his grandchildren, Jarod Anderson and Rachel Urban.
He is survived by: his spouse Marjorie J. Dean; his children, Jayne Geer of DesMoines, Sharon Covrett of Lakeview, Stephen Geer (Darlene) of Raymond and Darold Lough (Jerri) of Hilliard; his grandchildren, Barry Anderson of Kathryn, Patrick Lough (Kelsey), Hollie Moots (James), Arwen Thorn and Cassie Prevo (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Brieanna of Jeweliana, Robbie, Calen, Charlie, Miles, Sidney and Sam; and his sister-in-law Jeri Geer of Shelby. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
