She is survived by: her husband Jack Carpenter; her children, Michael Carpenter and Chris Carpenter (Tammy); and her siblings, Manya Perkins, Patty Hughes, Carol Green, Stella Ewing and Otis Bates Jr.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and one great grandchild.
