He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ruth Hoover, Virgil Montgomery, Ann Montgomery and Anton Toman. He is survived by: his wife Barb Toman (Smith); his parents, Anton Charles and Debra Ann Toman (Montgomery); his siblings, Daren (Mara), Dean (Doreen), Darel (Tammy) and Renee Sonnett (Vannon); his mother-in-law Anna Smith (Adkins); and his sisters-in-law, Jo Beachy (Bill), Dana Pyles (John) and Tina Goble (Roger). He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, and so many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in remembrance of David to Union County Humane Society and The James Cancer Hospital.
