He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Yoakum and Elizabeth Crist Yoakum; his brother Jerry Yoakum; and his sister-in-law Ellen Hoar. He is survived by: his wife Becky Baird Yoakum; his children, Joani Viezer (Tim) of Bay Village, Jeff Yoakum (Donna) of Pinellas Park and Josh Yoakum (Susan) of Columbus; his granddaughters, Sophia and Emily; his sister Barbara Badertscher of San Angelo, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Yoakum of Longs and Robert Hoar of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by three nephews and a niece.
