He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Saft and Dorothy Saft (Hess); his wife Waunitta Saft; and his son Charles Saft Jr.. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Saft of Marysville, Debra Waugh (Glenn) of Hilliard and Laura Lee Schatz of Columbus; his siblings, Larry Saft (Becky), Sandy Chapman and Karen Stalder (Dave); and his close friends, Chuck Jolliff, Laura Herriott and Brenda Liebhart. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
