He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Borden and Pauline Borden; his wife Betty Rausch Borden; his siblings, William "Bill" Borden, Betty C. Borden and Rebecca Schalip (Lee); his brothers-in-law, Lloyd Rausch and Lee Rausch; and his nephew James "Pete" Anderson.
He is survived by: his brother Ben Borden of Orlando, Florida; his sister-in-law Joan Borden of Somerset; his daughters, Teresa Farley (Glen) of Marysville and Carol Nelson (Charlie) of Punta Gorda, Florida; his daughter-in-law Tanya Anderson of Milton, Florida; and his close friend Tim Shirer. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several close nieces and nephews.
