He was predeceased by: his parents, Estill Crisp and Lela Ethell Crisp (Lewis). He is survived by: his wife Denise Roberts; and his siblings, Lana Sharpe, Avonda Hoffman, Noami Phyllis Smith, Lenora Josephine Morris, Regina King, Chalmer Crisp, Freddie Crisp and Donald Crisp. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
