He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eugene and Carol Ann Mountjoy (Hamilton). He is survived by: his brothers, Shane Mountjoy of Martinsville and Jed Mountjoy (Lisa) of Martinsville; and his nieces and nephews, Abbi Clark (Justin), Jaysun Mountjoy, Charles Mountjoy, Austin Mountjoy, Preston Mountjoy, Addie Clark, Alex Clark, Chase Mangold and Matt Mangold.
