He was predeceased by: his brother James G. "Jimmy"; his sister-in-law Jane Shepherd Jr.; his uncle Larry Shepherd; and his niece Janis Shepherd. He is survived by: his parents, James Gilbert and Betty Jean Shepherd Sr. (Dalton) of Martinsville; and his sisters, Jackie Stone of Carrabelle, FL and Janet Smith of New Vienna, OH. He is also survived by his parents, other surviving family members.
