She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rose and Rebecca Rose (Lane); her husband William Smith; and her children, Thomas Allen, William Smith and Carolyn Rhoads.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Smith (Hazel) of Hillsboro and Janet Brown (Jimmy) of Martinsville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great granddaughter.
