It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas William Dolence of Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dolence and Yohana Dolence (Zigman); his wife Patricia Dolence (Smigle); and his brother Matthew Dolence. He is survived by: his children, Debra Zeroski (Gary) of Adena, Linda Owens (Greg) of Adena, Thomas Dolence Jr. (Starla) of Belleville, TX and John Dolence (Holly) of Groveport; his grandchildren, Christopher Owens (Jordan), Ashley Sproul (Derrick), Brian Zeroski (Sydney), Rachel Piergallini (Mario), Rebecca Shugert (Bobby), Dylan Deem, Tommy, Patty, Keith and Alaina Dolence; and his great grandchildren, Ariel, Natalie, Avi, Brielle, Valerie, Breece and Liv.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (415 Walnut St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
