He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. Koucoumaris and Sophia Koucoumaris (Grelles); and his brother Nick J. Koucoumaris. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Koucoumaris (Sabic); his sons, John S. (Mary) of Colerain and Lee S. (Joelle) of McMurray, PA; and his granddaughters, Sophia Koucoumaris (Taylor Fogle), Helen Koucoumaris (Shane Krob) and Olivia Koucoumaris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews complete his family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel (415 Walnut St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Life - Giving Fountain Greek Orthodox Church (316 N 5th St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935). The military honors was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 12:30 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Fountain, 316 N. 5th St. Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
