She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe A. Poe and Lorraine Poe (Wade); her former husband John E. Embrey; and her husband Clarence A. Carney. She is survived by: her sister Linda Shaw of Effingham, Ill; her children, John Embrey (Ellen), Cape Girdeau, Annette Burress of Brilliant and Penny Sue May (Thomas) of Thebes; her grandchildren, Christopher Burress and Angela Embrey; and her great grandchildren, Arjay, Kaylin, Alexis and Brooklyn Burress.
