He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Gooch of Martins Ferry; his children, Charlie Rutan (Lacy) of Martins Ferry and Ricky Rutan of Martins Ferry; his siblings, Adrienne McCardle of Barnesville, OH, Cheryl Williams of Wellsburg, WV and Francis VanCamp of Wheeling; and his granddaughter Deborah Banks.
