He is survived by: his parent Bessie Pickens (Morgan); his spouse Mary Luella Pickens (Murdock); his children, Kenneth Pickens (Mary), Dean Pickens (Marsha), Bruce Pickens and Jean Merriman (David); and his grandchildren, Eliza, Ian, Andrea, Michael, Anna, Mike and Josie.
