He was predeceased by: his parent Menelaos Papageorgiou; and his wife Erasmia M. Papageorgiou. He is survived by: his children, Constantinos "Gus" Papageorgiou (Patty) and Marina Papapostolou (Tony). He is also survived by his four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
