He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Deller and Margaret A. Deller (Gumbar); and his brother Richard Deller. He is survived by: his wife Anna J. Deller (Myers); his children, John R. Deller II (Lesa) and Sharon L. Deller; his grandchildren, Kimberly Braden (Joseph), John Deller III (Theresa), Shannon Jackson and Dale Jackson (Kristin); and his sister Margaret Barber. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren 4 great-great grandchildren.
