He was predeceased by: his parents, Cledis Dalton and Esther Inman (Clyde); and his brother Edward Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Fran Dalton (St Clair); his children, Adam Shapaka (Heather) of New Philadelphia, Robert Dalton (Rhonda) of Zanesville and Holly Dalton (Sue) of Martins Ferry; his grandchildren, Carter Shapaka (Tae), Mackenze Baker, Meara Shapaka, Madison Baker, Ruthie Dalton, Reyna Dalton, Rylan Dalton and RJ Dalton; and his great grandchild Maxwell Shapaka.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (920 National Rd, Bridgeport, OH 43912). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
