Matty of Marshallville, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Matty and Ester Matty (Failor); and his sister Ruth Matty. He is survived by: his children, Linda Bates (Jim) of Smithville, Tracey Swinehart (Jim) of Smithville, Richard Matty, Jr. of Rittman and Michael Matty (Lori) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Joey Matty (Beth) of Smithville, Richard "Richie" Matty III (Brittney) of Marshallville, Tyler Bates (Whitney) of Loudonville, Kenny Larabee (Amber) of Akron, Alex Bates of Wooster, Michael "Mikey" Matty, Jr. of Sheffield Lake, Zoe Pullar (Owen) of Smithville and Scott Swinehart of Smithville; and his siblings, Robert Matty (Linda) of Hudson and Diane Staab (Paul) of Carmel, IN.. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
