It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia F. Hartzler of Marshallville, Ohio, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Soper and Agnes Soper; and her siblings, Jean Stuckey, Mary Greenleaf, Joyce Soper-Stuckey and Charlie Soper.
She is survived by: her aunt Grace Linaburg (Roy); her husband Harold Hartzler; her children, Gene Hartzler (Pat) of Wooster, Joyce Piatt (Greg) of Rittman, Jerry Hartzler (Ellie) of Sterling, Jeff Hartzler (Renee) of Rittman, John Hartzler (Darlene) of Marshallville, Greg Hartzler (Jill) of Marshallville, Joe Hartzler (Jean) of Smithville and Janis Steiner (Dan) of Orrville; and her brother Buddy Soper (Pam) of Sturbridge, Mass.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren & spouses; 48 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church (300 S Walnut St, Orrville, OH 44667). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Christian & Missionary Alliance Church Missions, 300 S. Walnut St., Orrville, OH 44667, or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
