It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Bragg of Marshallville, Ohio, born in Orrville, Ohio, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schmid and Anna Schmid; her husband Robert Putnam Bragg; her daughter Gail Tuttle; and her siblings, Raymond Schmid and Georgia Boone.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Bob Oakes; her children, Gerald Bragg (Nancy) of Massillon, Bruce Bragg (Linda) of Crestline, OH, Roberta Gleason (Jeff) of Marshallville, Alan Bragg (Tammy Wielinga) of Greensboro, GA and Suzanna West (Bob) of Marshallville; and her close friend Robert Oakes. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
Calling hours following covid 19 guidelines use of facial coverings will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 p. m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH and one hour prior to service time at the church on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Doylestown United Methodist Church music fund or missions fund.
