She is survived by: her parents, Warnie Short and Anna Short (Roop); her spouse Bronzel D. Hicks; her sons, Dwight B. Hicks (Tomma) and Randall; her siblings, William Short of Dover, OH and Marie Sauer (Robert) of Marietta; her grandchildren, Amanda Natalizio (Tony), Cassandra Mott (Jamie), Randall Hicks, Thomas Hicks (April), Arin Hicks (Matt), Dale Hicks, Lauran Hicks, Marin Shilling, Bailey Gochnauer, Ashton Jones, Carin Hicks, Alex Mott, Gavin Mott, Brock Hicks, Jordan Hicks, Alaric Natalizio and Lucian Natalizio; her brothers, Herschel Short, Charles Short, Granville Short and Arch E. Short; and also Alvin R. Wayne.
The family suggests that friends may make a donation to a charity of donors choice in her memory.
