He was predeceased by: his father John Sidney Greenwalt; his brother John Greenwalt; and his grandparents, Maxine Underwood, George and Bertha Greenwalt.

He is survived by: his mother Delores Greenwalt (Underwood); his wife Tanya L. Gamble; his children, Robert Greenwalt of Kentucky, Anthony Greenwalt (Jessica) of Bryan, Desiree Greenwalt (Jeremiah) of Bryan, Trinity of Mark Center and Tessa Greenwalt of Mark Center; and his siblings, Gordon Underwood (Bonnie) of Bryan, Randy Greenwalt (Charlotte) of Defiance, Jeff Greenwalt of Hicksville, Val Greenwalt of Sherwood, Lila Alvarado of Hicksville, Eric Greenwalt (Tisha) of Hicksville and Melissa Clement (Tracy) of Spencerville.
