He was predeceased by: his parents, Dearl Singleton and Ila Singleton (Saylor); and his siblings, Richard Singleton, Carolyn Wann, Lavon Singleton, Vada Singleton, Genevieve Baumgart, Mollie Thompson and Barbara Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie M. Stecher; his daughter Tonge Kimpel (Nathan) of Edgerton, Ohio; his grandchildren, Tiffany Booher (Martin) of Orland, Brigette Turay (Sean) of Crown Point, J. J. Vance (Tasha) of Ypsilanti and Tyler Kimpel (Amber) of Wolcottville, Indiana; and his sisters, Mary Lou Mabis (Bob), Betty Singleton and Shirley Miller (Ora). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
