He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lou Cornwell and Myron Cornwell. He is survived by: his wife Connie Cornwell; his sisters, Brenda Peters, Marcia Stapleton, Marla Sunkle and Jackie Clewell (Bruce); his daughters, Tomie Schardine and Toni Cornwell-Fisher; his grandchildren, Alexis Lindsay (Tyler Hines), Olivia DeJean (Kyle), Wade Fisher and Kimber Schardine; and his great grandchild Waylon DeJean (Charles "Chuckie").
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Home (122 W Columbia St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, or to the Marion Palace Theater.
