He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Vanover and Margie Vanover (Beavers); his sister Fredda; and his brother-in-law Charles Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Janice Vanover (Koontz); his daughters, Lisa Thomas (Andrew) of Marion, Valerie Mogavero (Michael) of Cape May, NJ and Connie Grear (Andy) of Downingtown, PA; his grandchildren, Jacob Thomas (Tabby Wymer), Michaela Thomas, Jackson Grear, Carter Lee Grear and Chase Grear; and his sister Lucy Hamilton (Chuck).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Roger and Janice Vanover Family Fund under the umbrella of The Marion Community Foundation to help the Marion community and underprivileged youth.
