He was predeceased by: his parents, Buchtel H. Thompson and Edith Jane Thompson (Clonch); his wife Sharon Lynn Thompson; and his siblings, James "Bud" Thompson, Thomas Thompson and Claire Ellen Clarke.
He is survived by: his children, James Thompson (Heidi) of Marion and Lisa Moser (Don) of Marysville; his grandchildren, Molly, Megan, Michael Thompson, Cambree Mosher-Mann (Rob), Arlaina Hillard (Blake), Noah Mosher and Cohen Moser; and his great grandchildren, Callum and Olive.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel (360 E Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
