We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Pearl Lyons of Marion, Ohio, born in Inez, Kentucky. She was predeceased by: her former husband Donald Chaffin; her husband George E. Lyons; her children, Donald Jr., Nyoka Sly, Donna K. Rose, Juanita Moore and Gayla Rattliff; and her brother John Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Teddy G. Lyons (Mary), Mark Lyons (JoAnn), Jerry E. Lyons (Melissa) and Debra L. Johnson (Dale Loyer Sr.); and her sister Rispy Jane Stepp. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Freewill Baptist Church (1449 Crissinger Rd, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Grand Prairie Cemetery (4964 Brush Ridge Dr N, Marion, OH 43302).
