He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McFann and Bessie McFann (Brookens); and his brothers, Lowell McFann and Keith McFann. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mae McFann; his children, Vicky McFann of Dover, Jeff McFann of Marion, Kim Comstock (Marty) of Caledonia, Greg McFann of Dublin and Mark McFann (Barb) of Edison; his grandchildren, Sara Beavers and Adam Comstock; his great grandchildren, Addison Comstock, Jacob Comstock, Zachary Beavers and Zoe Beavers; his brother Ralph McFann of Colorado; and his siblings-in-law, Beth McFann of Marion, John Leffler (Linda) of Michigan and Gene Winters of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it was Marvin's request that donations be made to the Marion General Hospital Foundation - Hospice.
